The best city to live in?

I've seen cities like Suzhou and Zhuhai mentioned, but I want to see if there's anything else that can be added to the list. Feel free to just put your favorite place in your answer too, I won't give a rip. So far Suzhou looks good but its always good to see if theres new discoveries that have been made. Cheers.

guess it's too mainstream to be cool on this forum, but I'll say it....

    Shanghai!!!

If you're a single smoker (don't care about pollution) who wants job opportunities outside of education and plenty of western comforts, that's the spot.

but ya Taipei would be great too.

Not anywhere in Guangdong if you want to learn proper Mandarin, IMO.

Yeah, what are you looking for from the city you want to live in?

Great traveling options and well connectedness to high speed rails? Chengdu, Xi'An, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Guangzhou or Shenzhen

Warm weather all year long? Kunming, Fujian, Guangxi and Guangdong province

Attention from Chinese girls? Shenzhen and other not so famous tier2 and tier3 cities

Cheap living costs? Tier2 and Tier 3 cities

Learning mandarin? Anywhere except for Guangdong
